Mura Technology are pleased to announce that their first commercial partner, ReNew ELP, have acquired land and planning permissions at the Wilton International site at Teesside, North East of England. This land will hold the first hydrothermal upgrading operational facility, and will be able to process 20,000 tonnes of waste plastics into valuable chemicals and oils. The build is scheduled for completion in Q4 2022.
The ReNew ELP site will be the first in the world to run the technology at commercial level – diverting waste plastic away from landfill, incineration and the environment.
