Mura Technology are pleased to announce that their first commercial partner, ReNew ELP, have acquired land and planning permissions at the Wilton International site at Teesside, North East of England. This land will hold the first Cat-HTR™ commercially operational facility, and will be able to process 20,000 tonnes of waste plastics into valuable chemicals and oils. On build and completion, the technology will bring dozens of jobs to the site, alongside enabling Local Authorities to reach and extend recycling targets, and solidifying investment into the area.
The ReNew ELP site will be the first in the world to run the technology at commercial level – diverting waste plastic away from landfill and ocean environments.
