is how long it would take nature to turn plastic back into hydrocarbon feedstocks
of plastic ends up in the ocean each year
Mura Technology are pleased to announce that subsidiary ReNew ELP have acquired land and planning permissions at the Wilton International site at Teesside, North East of England. This land will hold the first Hydro-PRT hydrothermal upgrading operational facility, placing 20,000 tonnes of recycled hydrocarbons onto the market. The build is scheduled for completion in 2024.
The ReNew ELP site will be the first in the world to run the technology at commercial level – diverting waste plastic away from landfill, incineration and the environment.
